This year begins the twelfth version of the real estate fair organized by the Panamanian Association of Real Estate Brokers and Developers (Acobir) to be held from June 30 to July 3, at the Panama Convention.
The event will be made up of more than 80 developers that will offer to the public approximately 250 residential and commercial projects of different prices. The projects cover the city, beach, countryside and other areas in the countryside.
The activity will be attended by several banks in the country, which will be promoting their financing rates such as: Bac Panama, Multibank, Banco Nacional, Banco General, Scotiabank, Davivienda, Caja de Ahorros, Global Bank, Banistmo, Banesco and Mercantil Banco.
Expo Inmobiliaria Acobir will be open to the public on Thursday, June 30 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, July 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition, Acobir will work together with Mi Bus to facilitate access to the Panama Convention Center.
The director of Expo Inmobiliaria Acobir, engineer José Manuel Amado said in a press release that this year the fair will maintain a hybrid format, where people will be able to attend in person and virtually from its website www.expoinmobiliariapanama.org.
As for the entrance fee, it will cost B/.2.00 and B/.1.00 for retirees and children under 12 years of age will be free, and more than 1,700 parking spaces will be available.
For his part, the president of Acobir, Francisco Cheng explains that this year will continue to contribute from the guild to promote the revival of the economy and the real estate industry in the country. “We are seeking to strengthen alliances with various sectors of both the private and public sectors, refining a common sheet that seeks to generate new business, which translates into a greater number of investments and greater opportunities for direct and indirect jobs.”
Acobir is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1973, and since then it has developed a guild representation work in the real estate sector. Its objective is to bring together professionals in the real estate industry, who offer services under the parameters of its bylaws and code of ethics, in order to strengthen professionalism through good practices.
Acobir was the driving force behind the 1999 Decree Law No. 6 of July 1999, which regulates the profession of real estate broker in the Ministry of Commerce and Industries and its regulation by Executive Decree of November 7, 2001 and Resolution No. 002-2001, which adopts the code of ethics.
